Vega de Yuso presents a new vintage of its author wine, Tresmatas Vendimia Seleccionada 2018.
A harvest classified as Very Good, with climatic conditions typical of the Ribera del Duero. A very high quality vintage, the result of a really favorable and balanced climate in the Ribera del Duero that has resulted in an elegant, balanced and easy-to-drink wine according to the style of the winery.
Tresmatas Vendimia Seleccionada is a wine made only in exceptional vintages, with grapes from a single payment of more than 55 years.
For thirty days, we made a malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels. And it is aged in high-end French barrels of extra-fine grain, for 24 months.
It is a signature wine, expressive, structured and complex, suitable for special moments and important celebrations.
In tasting we discover a wine that is deep in color, very covered in cherry-garnet red with a large layer, with an intense aroma and great complexity, ripe fruit with caramel notes, toffee, toasted, elegant and spicy (walnut and almond). It is a wine with a very sweet tannin on the palate, very structured and meaty, very persistent.

Bodegas Vega de Yuso, S.L. was founded in 2002 by Rubén Iglesias. 20 hectares of vineyards characterised by their high phenolic expression and the production of wines with a marked personality and identity. ‘The vineyard’s age, altitude and soil typeare the keys to our viticulture’. Our wines are made of grapes from vines of over 50 years old with very low yield and exceptional quality.
